Folded by hand

A croissant gets its layers by folding butter into the dough, again and again. Try it.

One sheet of dough wrapped around a sheet of butter.

Croissant or cornetto?

We bake both. They are not the same pastry.

Best in the first two hours

Laminated pastry is at its peak for about two hours after it leaves the oven, so come in the morning: we open at 8:00 am, 8:30 on Sunday. Taking one home? Leave it on the counter, not in the fridge, and three or four minutes in a hot oven brings the crunch back. Never the microwave.

Where can I get a pistachio croissant in Miami?

At Pistacchio Pane e Caffè, 188 NE 23rd Street in Edgewater, from 8:00 am (8:30 am on Sunday), or delivered through Uber Eats and DoorDash.

Is the pistachio cream real pistachio?

Yes. It is our own pistachio cream, made from scratch.

What is the difference between a croissant and a cornetto?

The croissant is French: lean, buttery and crisp. The cornetto is Italian: its dough contains sugar and egg, so it is softer and sweeter. We bake both, as two different pastries.

Can I order pistachio croissants for an office?

Yes. They go on our breakfast trays. Call (786) 536-7165 to plan the order; early is best, while the pastry is at its peak.
