The rules, briefly
In Italy, "un caffè" means an espresso. Milk belongs to the morning, and after a meal the order is an espresso, taken standing at the bar. Nobody will stop you breaking the rules here, but if you want the whole etiquette we wrote it down in how to order coffee like a Neapolitan.
