Smaller than you expect

An Italian breakfast is a cornetto and a coffee, usually standing at the bar, finished in a few minutes. No plate of eggs, no negotiation. Sweet pastry, bitter coffee, out the door. Sicily has a grander version, a brioche filled with gelato, eaten in the morning without apology: ours is the brioche col gelato.

Breakfast for an office

For a room of people, the same pastries go on a tray. The arithmetic of how much to order is in our catering guide.
