Matcha is not green tea, quite
Ordinary green tea is leaves steeped in water and then thrown away. Matcha is the leaf itself, ground to a fine powder and whisked into the water or milk, so you drink all of it. That is why it is greener, thicker and stronger than a cup of green tea, and why the quality of the powder shows.
Hot in the morning, cold after
The same rule as coffee works well here: the hot matcha in a cup when the day starts, and the iced ones, strawberry or pistachio, once Miami warms up.
